Membership Information

Friendships are some of the great benefits of becoming a Rainbow Girl!
 

    A girl will learn many skills as a member of the Rainbow Girls.  The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls emphasizes the following:

(1) Effective Leadership
(2) Church Membership and active Participation in the church of your choice
(3) Patriotism
(4) Cooperation with Equals
(5) Love of Home
(6) Loyalty to Family and
(7) Service to Humanity

    The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls helps promote self-esteem and leadership in its members.  As a member, a girl will learn valuable public speaking skills and will attend meetings presided over by girls her own age.  While there are always adult advisors to provide direction, all meetings are conducted by the girls.
 

    How to join? Petitions for Membership may be submitted by girls between the ages of 11 and 19 who are friends of Rainbow Girls, daughters of Master Masons, Eastern Stars, members of the Amaranth, or recommended by any of these sponsors. No application for membership shall be denied on the grounds of race, creed, color, or national origin.

    This youth organization is comprised of girls between the ages of 11 and 20 and sponsored by Masonic Lodges, Chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star,  Courts of Amaranth, or White Shrine of Jerusalem.  Girls are NOT required to have a Masonic affiliation to be members of this organization.  We are NOT associated with any groups other than those listed above.

                Contact the Mother Advisor or Grand Deputy closest to your home for a petition or
                 the Grand Web Master who will forward your request to the appropriate assembly.
